Mic Night!

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩!

𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞'𝐬 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.  𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠…𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨.

My experience was definitely “the slow burn”.  And it lasted for years.

I had gotten so good at avoiding what was really going on,  that not only had I fooled my friends, colleagues and family…I had fooled myself.

And why was I such a master at this?  Because I had practiced it for so damn long.

In the beginning I wasn’t necessarily COMMITTED to change.  I think I would describe it more as a feeling of desperation.

And as time went on my desire to change became stronger and so did my commitment.

But there is one piece that is a very important part of this equation.

I needed something worth changing for.

Until I made this discovery, I was running on repeat and calling in all the things that kept me stuck.

There is nothing more freeing than CLARITY.  And it’s found by peeling back some layers, and gaining understanding of why the heck we accept what we do.

Only then do we find out where we are, who we are, and what we really want.

DID YOU KNOW…that understanding will render fear useless!!!  Fear is what keeps us stuck!!!

I remember when I began to connect the dots and see how the journey I had been on was a training ground for my next chapter.  This is where I began to create my blueprint to empowerment.

Every single one of you women is beyond powerful.  And has only scratched the surface of your true potential.

Some of you are already in a space where you continue building on your clarity, vision and dreams and have experienced great success.

While others know deep down inside there is so much more.  And it’s time to DISCOVER and unleash HER to the world.

What a scary thought right?

So I want to START A CONVERSATION.

And that involves us all coming together.

As a collective.

A community.

One that is built on inclusivity, authenticity and vulnerability.

Let’s get REAL and talk.

I invite you every other Thursday for 30 minutes at 7pm EST to OPEN MIC NIGHT where we connect, collaborate and grow together in my group of ambitious women! 

Every other week we will focus on a topic that aligns with staying out of our own damn way so we can keep moving forward in the direction to boldly go after our BIG dreams.

I will lead this group,  and then we will share, ask questions and get inspired by the energy of all of us women rising above our circumstances and seeing what life can be like beyond borders.

Consider this a HIT OF INSPIRATION and a safe place to BE YOU, receive support and offer yours.

We as women are meant to work together.  And I know the more we do we will..
